Chrystal earned her nursing degrees at Azusa Pacific University. She is board certified as a family nurse practitioner by the American Association of Nurse Practitioners. While she was in college, she worked as a volunteer at the Veterans Administration (VA) Loma Linda Healthcare System in the emergency department and intensive care unit.

Crystal is a home tutor and has been teaching Mandarin for more than 10 years. She also speaks Chinese. Crystal lives in Redlands, CA and has a teenage son. She enjoys hiking, jogging and spending time with family.
